Bus stops downtown Annapolis attracts tourists, local inhabitants of the historic district; especially students at near-by colleges and the United States Naval Academy. The grain in the image displays a quality and feel that enabled the photographer to portray a historic slant on a live scene. This picture could be from the 1950's and will enable generations to enjoy from 2011 and beyond.

What does a 1920's Model T Ford have in common with an outboard marine engine? The horsepower of the marine engine can most likely match the Model T. The owner of this garage restores and repairs automobiles and marine equipment. Annapolis is known for its marine life, but finding a Model T tucked away is a nice surprise.

Washington DC is known for the Nations Capitol, significant monuments and a variety of museums. Employed are highway and harbor patrols to help in security and order. Even during the evening hours, guards patrol offices buildings, though small, but important to the growing contemporary facade that will be constructed and soon inhabit the District of Columbia.

The Port of Baltimore maintains an influx of imports during the economic rise of 2010. Baltimore city preserves a strong hold in the steel, imports and the business of traditional manufacturing. Through sweat, blood and a band of relationships, Baltimore will be well poised to rise and succeed beyond this economic depression.This was awarded 2nd place in the International Photography Awards contest - Editorial - Environmental category for the winning entry "Port of Baltimore II - Trifecta II".

Living aboard a boat is a lifestyle embraced by a diverse population. The dream of untying, sailing and embracing Mother Nature has always been the attraction of boaters. For most, people travel North and South of the Chesapeake Bay coastline; experiencing the diverse landscape, food and culture. Marinas exist throughout the 11,684 miles of shoreline in the Chesapeake Bay and will continue to support this population for generations to come.

St. John's College is a liberal arts college with two U.S. campuses: one in Annapolis, Maryland and one in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Founded in 1696 as a preparatory school, King William's School, the school received a collegiate charter in 1784, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the United States. St. John's College is our country's third-oldest school. St.John's includes among its illustrious alumni Francis Scott Key, author of "The Star Spangled Banner." Since 1937, it has followed an unusual curriculum, the Great Books Program, based on discussion of works from the Western philosophic, scientific and literary canon; it is probably for this program that the school is best known. Abandoned industrial buildings are small treasures worth capturing. They soon will disappear because the Port of Baltimore is going through a transition period; existing business will close or be consolidated.
